Celebrating Dragon Boat Festival
Employees of Liaoning Qiushi Vertical Silo Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd. came together to celebrate the traditional Chinese Dragon Boat Festival. This festival, also known as the Duanwu Festival, is an important festival in Chinese culture and is celebrated annually on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month.
Employees made their own rice dumplings, presenting a traditional feast of festive food. As a traditional food symbolizing good luck and prosperity, rice dumplings are presented in a variety of flavors and fillings. Sweet rice cakes, fragrant tea, and other festive delicacies were also shared among colleagues.
In addition to the rice dumpling making activities, employees also participated in traditional customs such as hanging fragrant grass bags to ward off evil spirits and writing riddles on colored paper to challenge each other to solve.
